Indian Organ Donation Day is being celebrated every year on November 27 to commemorate the contributions made to society by deceased donors and their families.
The objective of the day is to spread awareness among people and to recognize the selfless efforts made towards mankind and re-establish belief in humanity. By registering to become an organ donor you have the option to donate organs such as your heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, pancreas and small bowel. All of these forms of donation can greatly enhance or even save the life of someone in need.
